On Wednesday March 28, 2018 the Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach will host a Public Fundraising event to help raise money for the students, teachers, and victims of the Parkland tragedy.
This can be a great time to raise funds for a good cause and also give some residents of Myrtle Beach a chance to visit the Grand Dunes and enjoy the Members Club at the Grande Dunes. The only time I ever enter the Grande Dunes is when showing Real Estate.
Yesterday was the March for our Lives event that received a lot of attention and was designed to help bring attention to gun issues in the US. The event received National attention and the movement had many participants. Hopefully the Parkland Fundraiser will also accomplish it's goals and raise some money for the victims of the Parkland tragedy.
Good Evening Residents, Members & Friends of Grande Dunes, When my family heard about the tragedy in Parkland, we were stunned. For 15 years we lived in Parkland, and my daughter graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. I knew we had to do something for Parkland. That’s why I am personally inviting you to Hope for Parkland, a fundraiser on Wednesday, March 28th, 4:00-8:00PM at the Members Club at Grande Dunes. In our gorgeous golf club setting, we’ll have a delicious dinner of backyard BBQ and enjoy music from a live DJ. We’ve priced tickets so the whole family can come—adults ($25) and children ($15). Each ticket includes dinner, two raffle tickets, and soda. Besides raffle prizes, you could win a new $61,000 Cypress Cay pontoon boat from Jimmy's Marine &Watersports. That’s the Hole-in-One Contest prize, but there will be more than 50 winnable prizes—plus silent auction items, dice game, and putting contest. One hundred percent of proceeds will benefit Broward Education Foundation (BEF), the sole 501(c)3 charity dedicated to raising funds for the students, teachers, and victims’ families in this horrific tragedy. Please RSVP by Monday, March 26, by buying your meal and raffle tickets online. Bring your receipt and dress code is no denim or flip-flops please. Tickets will also be sold at the door for cash, check, or credit card (min. $20 purchase).
